+/-15V & +12V Regulated Power Supply
This project allows you to have a +/-15V rail for a preamp and a +12V rail for powering some relays, etc. for input switching in an amplifier. It uses the LM317/337 adjustable regulators to do the job.
Note: Do NOT exceed an input voltage of +/-40V
To calculate the resistor value of R1, R3 and R5 for each regulator for a different output voltage is as follows:
R = 240 * ((Vout / 1.25) - 1)
where 240 is the resistor value of R2, R4 or R6 Vout is the desired output voltage and 1.25 is the internal regulator's reference voltage.
Example for say 9V:
R = 240 * ((9 / 1.25) - 1) = 1488 (1.5k, close enough)
