SNES2CD32 – SNES Controller Adapter for Amiga CD32
SNES2CD32 is a small adapter board that lets you plug a Super Nintendo controller into the joystick port of an Amiga CD32 or classic Amiga. An ATmega8 reads the SNES pad, while a 74HC165 shift register and a 74HC125 buffer reproduce the CD32 pad protocol, so the extra buttons are available too.
The firmware lets you remap Up or Down to any face or shoulder button, so you don’t have to press up to jump. It also adds turbo fire on A, B, X, Y, L and R, and records and plays back a macro of around 50 button presses.
The author describes it as a hobby project that was never fully finished. The 2019 PCB has two known bugs that are fixed with simple rework: a missing 10k pull-up and two resistors that should go to VCC instead of GND.
