Amstrad CPC PS/2 Mouse Adapter

The adapter lets a standard PS/2 mouse control an Amstrad CPC through its 9-pin joystick port. A PIC16F84A reads the mouse and a 74LS240 buffer drives the joystick direction and fire lines, with an optional scroll-wheel output selected by a DIP switch.
The board is a simple two-layer, all through-hole design of about 69 × 38 mm drawn in KiCad 7. The author notes that this redrawn version has been built and tested. It connects to the CPC with a straight-through DB9 male-to-female cable and is powered with 5 V through a 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC splitter cable.
The KiCad files, gerbers and a two-part 3D-printable case are included. The PIC firmware is not in the repository and has to be taken from the CPC Wiki PS2Mouse page. Use at your own risk, as the original author cautions.
