Bass guitar pre-amplifier board to be used in a bass guitar amplifier project. This design is based on the work done at this website:

This board takes +/-15VDC for power. A separate DI board can be used if you want an XLR output. I have a suitable DI board shared at this link:

The POTs mount on the BACK of the PCB and serve as the PCB mounting to the enclosure with the component side of the PCB facing INTO the enclosure. This is shown in the example pictures and this interactive BOM:

Note that this uses 1/6W resistors, the SMT version of TL074 and specific 9mm Alpha Pots. Be sure you can source these parts and can solder an SMT device. Links to parts are in the attached BOM file. Photos of an example amplifier are included here as well. The example uses a mono TPA3116d2 amplifier board, 24VDC 3A power supply module, +/-15VDC buck-boost module and a DI driver module inside a 1590DD enclosure. I've tried using other amplifier modules but, thus far, only the TPA3116 and TPA3118 boards have been reliable. Be careful sourcing these amplifier boards as there are many fakes claiming to be real TPA but they are not...

I have ordered these modules in the past and they were real but I cannot promise they are still real. One thing I can say, if the heat sink is bolted on, it's likely real. If there are no bolts, it is fake. This is also not a guarantee but has been true of all boards I've sourced.
