MIDI FORGE Maestro - Wavetable Board emulated using Raspberry Pi Zero 2W
The MIDI FORGE Maestro emulates a wavetable board for vintage sound cards.
A Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is used to emulate wavetable sounds using sound fonts or a Roland MT-32 device.
The SD card needs a configured copy of the mt32-pi project (by Dale Whinham) found here: https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi
Some of the connectors have to be cut to size:
Front-Panel connector: Usually comes in 1x40P - you need to cut 9P for the MIDI FORGE Maestro
DAC (1x4P, 1x6P), OLED (1x4P): The SMT single row header might also only come in 1x40P. Cut 2x4P and 1x6P.
OLED Display:
The OLED displays from PCBWay have no pins soldered to the PCB - that makes it much easier to assemble:

This project is DIY! Due to the unconventional way how to place component on top of each other, assembly services from PCBWay will probably not be possible.
An instruction video how to make your own MIDI FORGE Maestro (single-slot solution) is on YouTube:
