Rechargeable Glucose Monitor Transmitter

This project aims to create a rechargeable conversion of an existing glucose monitoring transmitter. I live with a person that has diabetes and want to use technical innovation to help people that live with diabetes.


### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)

The existing transmitter is epoxy encapsulated and the batteries last a few months. CNC milling is used to expose the batteries and then create a cavity that will hold the replacement LiPo battery, management circuitry and a waterproof charging connector.

This cavity is approximately 25mm x 12mm and I have designed a PCB that contains a LiPo charge controller and voltage regulator to integrate with the existing transmitter circuitry. The completed device will be epoxy encapsulated to make it durable and waterproof.
