1. Who We Are
Aztech Motorsports is a student-led engineering team competing in STEM Racing, an international competition where teams design, manufacture, test, and race miniature Formula-style cars. We qualified for the National Championship through our performance at the regional round, where we also won the Best Project Management Award.
Team size: 5 students, organized into sub-teams: Design (CAD/CFD), Manufacturing, Testing & Validation, and Project Management/Media.
School: Manthan School
Regional results: 4th place, best regional project management and a 1.04 second race time across 20 meters.
2. Project Scope & Technical Objectives
We are engineering our car using a professional-grade development workflow rather than relying on theoretical design alone. This season's technical program includes:
CAD modelling (iterative design in [Fusion 360) of chassis, body panels, and aerodynamic components
CFD simulation to model airflow, drag coefficient (Cd), and downforce across the car body and wing assemblies
Physical validation via wind tunnel testing and airflow visualization (smoke testing) to correlate simulation data against real-world results
Iterative aerodynamic optimization based on the gap between simulated and measured performance
Weight reduction through material selection and structural optimization
Manufacturing precision — translating CAD tolerances into physical parts without performance loss from dimensional drift
This is the core reason precision manufacturing partners matter to us: in a competition where race times are decided by hundredths of a second, a 0.2 mm deviation in a wing profile or axle bore can measurably change performance.
3. Specific Components We Need Manufactured
3D printed Front/rear wing elements with nylon
CNC machined chassis using a standard block made of polyurethane
3D printed wheel support structure with PLA

6. What We're Requesting
We are requesting a monetary sponsorship of 20,000 to 40,000 rupees to support our team's participation in the National Championship. This funding will go toward:
Manufacturing costs for the precision components listed in Section 3 (CNC machining, 3D printing)
Materials for chassis, body, and aerodynamic components
Competition entry fees and travel/logistics to the National Championship
Wind tunnel testing fees
A monetary sponsorship gives our team the flexibility to source the specific manufacturing processes and materials each component needs, while ensuring PCBWay is credited as a named funding partner across our project.
In return, we can offer: logo placement on our car's livery and team uniforms, acknowledgment on our team's website and social media, a case-study write-up (with photos/CAD renders) of how sponsorship funding supported our build, and behind-the-scenes content from our wind tunnel testing and competition run that PCBWay can use for its own marketing/case studies.
