BRACU Mongol-Tori

We are Team BRACU Mongol-Tori, a Mars Rover Team from Bangladesh. We are participating in this year's University Rover Challenge 2023 which will take place in Hanksville, Utah on 31st May 2023. We started our journey of making the next Martian Rover in 2015. The current generation of the rover is going to be our 8th Generation. Our team has had a considerable number of achievements in both national and international competitions. Recently, our team became Champion of the AUST Rover Competition in August 2022, which was the biggest National rover competition in the country hosted by Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. We have also secured 9th position in International Rover Challenge (IRC) 2023.Our team has scored highest in the Autonomous mission in Virtual Rover Challenge in 2021, ranked 3rd in University Rover Challenge (URC) 2020 and ranked 3rd in International Rover Challenge (IRC) 2018. In the past we have been sponsored by industry leading companies like, SBG Systems.

We have been making Martian Rover since 2015 to participate in various Rover Competitions and Robotic Competitions. Making the Rover is helping us to learn various systems. By learning about these subsystems we can acquire problem solving skills, system designing and debugging.

Our team is divided into nine subteams; 3D Design and Simulation, Autonomous & Artificial Intelligence,

Control & Software, Electronics, Mechanical, Network & Vision, Science, Research & Documentation, /p>

Management & Finance. Every team works on its respective system led by a sub-team lead and sub-team members. Then the subsystems are integrated together by collaborating with all the members. We use six steps to make a system; Research, Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Testing.
