One transistor FM transmitter / Spy Bug ( vers. 2025 ) using a 2N3904 covering a distance between a few meters to a few hundred meters depending on the voltage you are powering it with and the length of the antenna. Please keep in mind that is made simply to learn and experiment. Is illegal to transmit on the public FM band on long distances so keep the transmitting distance to a minimum ( in many countries 25mW is the legal power for testing and experimenting no matter the frequency ). It can also double as a baby monitor. Stay out of trouble ! You will have to provide the external hardware. PCB Way will not provide these on the assembled version. If ordering the assembled version, you may still have to make adjustments to the inductor L1 until it works on the desired frequency. PCB Way will not test it or make any adjustments for you.
