G4RAW Ten Minute Transmitter ( vers. 2025 ). A simple QRP CW transmitter built in less than ten minutes. Only a few components and an output power of around 800mW @ 12V or 500mW @ 9V. The power output depends on the transistor used and also on the frequency of the crystal. The original schematic was published in Sprat 82 / 1996 by G4RAW. The transmitter does not have a low pass filter, so you will need a band specific one depending on the crystal used. The transmitter also needs a heatsink for the 2N3053 transistor and a 1000pF variable capacitor. If ordering the assembled version from PCBWay, the heatsink, the variable capacitor and the PCB mounted BNC connector will not be provided with the PCB board. You will have to provide the external hardware. PCB Way will not provide these on the assembled version. Please read the notes from the BOM file. More details in the Blog Article ( Coming Soon ).
