Help Center Soldermask Issues

It is wrong that copper traces are solder mask opening

Reason of failed review:

See pointed area. The traces are designed as solder mask opening too. It is not recommend.

Suggestion:

1.Solder mask opening is for solder pads to be uncovered by solder mask ink . So in the solder mask layer, usually we only show the pads, not show the other traces or texts. If traces are exposed from solder mask ink, it will be easily to be oxidized. Electrical performance is affected.

2. If you persist in thinking that such design is Intentional and correct, pls tell your sales representative. We can make as your original design file.
