ePowered RACING

About the Team:

We are ePowered RACING, a university team of "Escola d'Enginyeria de Barcelona Est" (EEBE - UPC) from Barcelona, Spain. The team is made up by 30 engineering students of different fields who work together to design and manufacture a 100% electric motorcycle capable of competing in MotoStudent, an international competition that reaches all parts of the world and rewards design, ingenuity, and innovation.

Our team was established in 2015 by a group of seven students that were determined to participate in MotoStudent. Since then we have already developed five bikes: ePR00, ePR01, ePR02, ePR03 and ePR04.

Our results from the latest edition with her:

• 2nd place worldwide in Best Industrial Project
• 2nd place worldwide in Innovation
• 1st place worldwide in CAD Design
• 7th place worldwide in the overall classification
• 3rd place nationally in the overall classification
• 1st place in Catalonia in the overall classification

We've now started the season and with it the design process for our new motorcycle, which will compete in the ninth edition of MotoStudent. The competition also has several components to showcase, so we're working on our innovation project.

Our PCB's

Our motorcycle features printed circuit boards designed by our electronics department during the season. These components are used in the vehicle control unit (VCU) and the battery management system (BMS), among other things. We hope that with PCBway's sponsorship we can improve our PCBs and thus achieve our goal of becoming MotoStudent world champions.
