UMSAE Formula Electric

I’m reaching out on behalf of the University of Manitoba Formula Electric team, a dedicated group of engineering students designing, building, and competing with a fully electric formula-style racecar as part of the Formula SAE (FSAE) competition. Each year, we push the boundaries of innovation in electric vehicle technology, and this year, we are entering the final stages of development for our latest racecar.

One of the key components of our vehicle is a custom-designed sensor PCB that plays a crucial role in data acquisition. This PCB is responsible for gathering real-time data from various sensors throughout the car, processing it with an STM32 microcontroller, and transmitting the information via a CAN bus to our data logger. The insights gained from this system are essential for performance optimization and race strategy.

As we move into the manufacturing phase of this project, we are seeking a partner to help us bring this critical component to life. We have the in-house tools and expertise to assemble the PCBs ourselves, but we require high-quality manufacturing for the bare boards.
