UMA Racing Team - MotoStudent Electric

The UMA Racing Team, is a team that participates in the MotoStudent competition, which consists of designing and manufacturing a 100% electric racing bike with characteristics similar to a moto3. The MotoStudent competition is an international competition between universities held at the Motorland Aragon world championship circuit.

We have already participated in 4 editions of MotoStudent, and currently we are the winners of the last edition. In this last edition we got the 1st Prize in Dynamic Tests, 1st Position in Race, Classification, Maximum Speed and Mechanical Test, 2nd Position in Gymkana, 2nd Prize to the Best Industrial Project and 2nd Prize in Innovation. We have also won prizes in other previous editions such as 2nd Prize for the Best Design (IV Edition), 2nd Prize for the Best Project (IV Edition), 1st Prize for the Best Industrial Project (II Edition) or 1st Prize for the Best Design (I Edition).

The project has been widely publicized in both local and national media in its previous editions. This biennial competition, organized by Technopark Motorland and the Moto Engineering Foundation, has brought together engineering schools from Spain, Germany, Croatia, Greece, Italy, the United Kingdom, Hungary, India, Poland, Kosovo, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Ecuador.

Our team is in the process of manufacturing the motorcycle battery. The battery system has a large amount of PCBs. Being PCBWAY one of the leading PCB manufacturing companies can help us achieve our goal.

Our engineering teams have the ability to improve our prototypes every year, so we hope to continue to fight for first place in the next edition of MotoStudent.
