Thunderstrike

Thunderstrike is a 60 kg combat robot designed for competitive battle events, with an 18 kg horizontal spinner bar as its primary weapon. The project was born out of our passion for robotics and the thrill of engineering a powerful machine capable of competing at the highest levels in events like BattleBots. The robot operates by using its high-speed spinner bar, which generates immense rotational energy to deliver devastating impacts to opponents. Controlled by a custom-made electronic system, Thunderstrike’s motor and weapon system require reliable and powerful ESCs to perform at their best. As an electrical engineering student and a mechanical engineering student, we’ve dedicated extensive research and effort into developing Thunderstrike, but due to budget constraints, we are seeking sponsorship from PCBWay for their A200S V4.1 ESCs. This support would enable us to complete the robot and elevate its performance, ensuring it operates efficiently and reliably in the demanding environment of competitive robotics.
