Team Octane Racing Electric

We are Team Octane Racing Electric, the Formula Student Team of COEP Technological University, Pune. We build formula-style electric race cars from scratch and compete in events like Formula Bharat and Formula Student Germany.

Our recent achievements:

• 2022: National Champions @ Formula Imperial
• 2024: 1st in Cost and Manufacturing and 4th Overall @ Formula Bharat
• 2025: Became the first Indian Team to implement 588V Battery Pack which powered a dual rear-wheel hub motor system, and were the sole Indian entry at Formula Student Germany 2025.

Our student engineers design 100% of our car and manufacture nearly 75% of it in-house. This year we are working on improving our custom 588V Battery Pack and Battery Management System. We design our own ECUs, precharge circuits, and also working on a custom MCU. We need your help in manufacturing our PCBs.
