Stratos Racing
STEM RACING · SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL
Partnership Proposal
Presented to PCBWay · STEM Racing, Student Engineering Programme
01 Introduction
We are Team Stratos, a student racing team competing in the STEM Racing programme — one of the world’s largest STEM competitions, engaging over 20 million young people across 40 countries. Our team of passionate young engineers and designers is developing a miniature, CO2-propelled Formula 1 model car from the ground up, competing on speed, design innovation, verbal presentation, and engineering process.
This proposal outlines how a partnership with PCBWay would be mutually beneficial — elevating our team’s technical capability while placing the PCBWay brand at the cutting edge of youth-led engineering innovation.
02 Why PCBWay?
PCBWay is not just a manufacturing platform — it is the infrastructure that powers real-world engineering. From rapid PCB prototyping and CNC machining to 3D printing and injection moulding, PCBWay has built a reputation as the go-to fabrication partner for engineers, students, and innovators worldwide.
That is exactly the kind of partner our team needs. STEM Racing demands precision, fast iteration, and access to professional-grade manufacturing — the same values that define PCBWay’s platform. PCBWay’s active support of student and maker communities, through its Sharing platform, sponsorship of university teams, and commitment to open engineering, makes it a natural fit for what we are building.
We chose PCBWay not because it is a well-known name, but because your mission — making advanced manufacturing accessible to every engineer — directly enables ours.

05 Return on Investment for PCBWay
Brand Visibility with the Next Generation: Our competition presence and social media reach puts PCBWay in front of thousands of students, educators, and parents — the engineers and early adopters of tomorrow.
Association with Engineering Excellence: Aligning PCBWay with a student engineering team reinforces your brand identity as the go-to fabrication partner for serious makers — from hobbyists to professionals.
Authentic Community Engagement: Grassroots sponsorship is far more credible than traditional advertising. Young engineers respond to brands that genuinely invest in them, creating lasting brand loyalty.
Content and Media Opportunities: Car reveals, fabrication milestones, and race days are high-quality content moments. Gold-tier partners gain co-branded opportunities shareable across both channels.
Talent Pipeline: STEM Racing alumni pursue careers in engineering, electronics, and design. Early PCBWay exposure plants brand affinity that compounds over careers.
Global PCBWay Community Alignment: Our project could be featured on PCBWay’s Sharing platform, connecting Team Stratos with PCBWay’s global community of engineers and creators.
06 Our Commitment to You
We take our obligations to sponsors seriously. Every partnership, at every tier, comes with our full commitment to:
Deliver all agreed logo placements and mentions on time and at every touchpoint.
Maintain a professional, positive team image across all public platforms.
Provide regular updates on team progress, manufacturing milestones, and results.
Represent PCBWay with pride, professionalism, and genuine gratitude at all competition events.
Attribute PCBWay specifically in any content featuring fabricated or printed components.
07 Next Steps
We would be honoured to discuss this partnership in further detail. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience — we are happy to arrange a call, presentation, or meeting to answer any questions and tailor a package that best fits PCBWay’s goals.
Thank you for considering this proposal. We are proud of what our team has built so far, and we are certain that with PCBWay’s manufacturing expertise behind us, we will produce something we can all be proud of — both on race day and beyond.
With respect and ambition,
