STEM Racing - Team Ascendent

Team Ascendent is a school representing Diocesan Boys' School in the international STEM Racing Competition (formerly F1 in schools). STEM Racing challenges students to design, build and race miniature F1 cars over a 20 meters track whilst managing portfolios, sponsorships and many other project elements.

Team Ascendent is the first team in our school, consisting of 6 students from Grade 8-11. Even though all of us are first-timers, we are aiming to be a world finalists - building the fastest car possible with our aerodynamic and physics knowledge, managing consultation-quality portfolios and sponsorship prospectuses, fostering a strong team identity and community. Ultimately, we hope our team can inspire students and children alike to take on the challenge and participate in the World of Motorsports.

In just one month, we have captured the 1st runner up award in the Hong Kong STEM Racing Development Class Competition, advancing to the Hong Kong regionals and competing for a spot in the STEM Racing World Finals - A prestigious event in which the World's best 83 teams compete.

Our team is currently streamlining our design processes, and are planning to build our first professional class car for testing. We believe that PCBWay can provide high-quality 3D printing and CNC services to allow us to produce a world-class quality car.

Together, we can create engaging content, drive innovation, and inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and racing enthusiasts, which is one of our core values of Ascendent Racing.
