Red Propulsion - Rocketry Student Team

Red Propulsion is a rocketry student team from Italy founded in 2022. Our goal is to make a cutting-edge rocket to participate at Euroc, the european rocketry challenge for universities.

We had succesfully launched 2 rockets already, and we are currently developing the Red Aster, the first of our rockets able to reach the 3km mark needed for Euroc. The development has been challenging, and we are currently finishing the project phase, now it's time to build!

The electronic bay on board is very unique. The name is Asterics, and it's a stack of 4 boards, from power to MCU, to sensors and RF. We also made custom antennas and RF splitters for communication. At ground level there's Obelics, the ground station that enables communication with the rocket, and then enables connection to a PC to further elaborate data. It was also tought as a development board with different pin mappings exposed for prototyping and coupling with a NUCLEO.

We are really making our best effort, and we are looking for the best opportunities we can find and we are developing new technologies at a very fast pace, that's why a sponsorship from PCBWay will be a huge boost in our process.
