Reagan TSA Animatronics Team
In 2023, a group of freshman came together with their engineering teacher in order to form their school's first ever TSA (Technology Student Association) team. This group went on to place top ten in the nation in animatronics that same year. How did we get here? Our team put in countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears to make our goal a reality. We did so with an unnecessary amount of jumpers and solderless breadboards. As we went into our second year, we wish to make their project space efficient, clean, and compact. We strive to learn to create PCBs, the better way to do animatronics. We wish to make the PCBs control everything, from the projects lights to the motor controls. We are striving to learn everything they can, and win nationals while they are at it. We are currently intending on a select number of PCBs, namely one to control the stage lights and 2 or more for the motors. We also want to make one to control our power distribution and the pneumatics. This will be the most ambitious project that we will have ever even dreamed of, and we need the good people at PCBway to help us. Our budget is incredibly tight, but based on the top ten in the nation finish, we work around it to create incredible things.
We strive to learn everything there is to learn about engineering, and win while we are at it. We grow in our skills each and every day. We are committed to this, and will work every single day to make this the best competition year ever. We are reaching out for your help, because without you we wouldn't be able to achieve any of our ambitions. We would really appreciate your partnership and we thank you all for considering to sponsor us.
