RFID-Based Task Management System

Project Story:

I am a young, passionate solo engineer and electronics enthusiast from Poland, who dreams of bringing innovative ideas to life. My fascination with electronics started at a young age, and over the years, I have dedicated myself to learning, experimenting, and creating projects that solve real-world problems. I am committed to sharing my knowledge with people of all ages, inspiring others to explore the exciting world of technology, and helping them develop their skills in electronics.

One of my biggest goals is to bring this project, the RFID-Based Task Management System, to life. It is an innovative and practical solution designed to streamline daily task management for families, schools, workplaces, and other environments.

The system utilizes RFID cards, where each user—whether a family member, student, or employee—has their own unique card linked to personalized tasks. When a card is scanned on the M5Stack Cardputer, the user can see their tasks for the day on the screen, including an overview of how many tasks remain. Users can select a specific task and mark it as completed with the press of a button. This process not only improves organization but also fosters accountability and productivity.

Why RFID Technology?

RFID technology is highly versatile, reliable, and user-friendly. It offers secure and fast access to personalized information without the need for complex interactions. This makes it ideal for people of all ages and skill levels. By integrating RFID with the M5Stack Cardputer and other components, the system becomes a powerful yet simple tool for managing responsibilities and boosting efficiency.

Key Applications:

While the primary use of this system is for task management at home, it has broader applications in other settings:

At Home: Family members can manage chores, personal goals, or shared responsibilities in an organized manner, reducing confusion and improving collaboration.

In Schools: Teachers can use it to assign and track homework, class tasks, or extracurricular projects for students. The system helps students stay organized and manage their time effectively.

In Workplaces: Teams can assign roles, track project progress, and enhance workflow transparency, improving overall productivity and collaboration.

Event Management: Volunteers or staff can use RFID cards to check their assigned roles and tasks during events, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.

This project's adaptability makes it a valuable tool across multiple industries, empowering users to stay organized, focused, and efficient.

Future Plans:

This project is just the beginning of my journey. I have numerous ideas for future projects, including:

Smart Attendance System: An RFID-based system for tracking attendance in schools, workplaces, or events.

Inventory Management System: A solution using RFID for efficient inventory tracking in homes or businesses.

Smart Lock System: An RFID-powered locking mechanism for secure and personalized access to doors, cabinets, or other storage spaces.

Wireless Communication Projects: Leveraging RF modules to create remote control systems or sensor networks for various applications.

To bring these ideas to life, I will need additional components, making this sponsorship crucial for my long-term goals.

Requested Items and Costs:

To successfully develop the RFID-Based Task Management System and support future projects, I request the following components:

1. 2x M5Stack Official Cardputer Kit w/ M5StampS3 - $29.00 each = $58.00

2. M5Stack Official Mini RFID Reader/Writer 2 Unit (WS1850S) - $5.00

3. M5Stack Official RF UNIT 433MHz Transmitter (SYN115) - $4.50

4. 1100m Work Range NRF24L01+PA+LNA Wireless Module with Antenna for Arduino - $3.00

5. Micro SD Card Module Slot Socket Reader - $1.00

6. USB to UART Serial Communication Module (Type A) - $3.00

Total Cost: $74.50

Additional Notes:

I already have the necessary PCB for this project, which reduces production costs and simplifies the development process.

I am also dedicated to sharing my progress and results with a wider audience. On my TikTok (@majkerrr2) and YouTube (Majkerrr) channels, where I have thousands of followers, I will document:

Step-by-step guides on building the system.

Demonstrations of the system in action.

Tutorials and tips for using M5Stack components and RFID technology.

These videos will not only promote PCBWay's services but also inspire others to explore the exciting possibilities of electronics and innovation.

This sponsorship will allow me to pursue my passion for electronics and achieve my dream of bringing this project to life. Thank you for considering my ap

plication—I look forward to working with PCBWay to create something impactful!
