Project STRATOSPEED: Precision, Altitude, Velocity
We are a student engineering team, Stratospeed, from The Ardee School, Delhi, competing in F1 in Schools Season 8, currently at the Regional Championship stage of the 2025–2026 competition year.
F1 in Schools is the world’s largest STEM competition, where teams design, manufacture, test, and race miniature compressed air-powered Formula 1 cars — judged on speed, engineering portfolio, marketing, and pit display.
We have already designed and manufactured our Season 8 car. The design went through multiple CFD simulation cycles in Fusion 360, optimizing aerodynamic surfaces, wing geometry, and overall body profile before any material was cut. Our car — finished in our team livery of blue, yellow, and red — is the most refined machine we have built to date.
This is not our first season. We have competed before and carried those lessons directly into this car. Every decision this year has been sharper, more deliberate, and backed by data.
What We Need From PCBWay
As our car is already manufactured, our focus now is on presentation quality and competitive impact at the regional level.
We are looking to work with PCBWay to develop high-quality pit display and branding components that match the standard of our engineering. This includes precision-fabricated elements such as laser-cut acrylic panels, engraved sponsor displays, and structured visual components that elevate how we present our work to judges and industry professionals.
At this stage of the competition, the pit display is a major scoring category. PCBWay’s manufacturing capabilities would allow us to create a clean, professional, and technically aligned display setup that reflects the level of work we have put into our car.
