Prendiville H2GP Team
*This is a 2nd request as we were advised to add more detail.*
*This message is on behalf of the Prendiville Catholic College Hydrogen Grand Prix Team Located in Perth, Western Australia.*
Dear PCBWay,
We are requesting sponsorship for our Hydrogen-Powered Car. (Images below)

About The Race
The H2GP (Hydrogen Grand Prix) competition is an international student-led race for hydrogen-powered remote-controlled-cars. It is a gruelling 4-6 hour race to challenge student's engineering capabilities in a competitive high-stakes environment. There are 4 main categories that the overall challenge is divided into. These are Stock, Modified, Hybrid and Prototype. We have opted to compete in the Modified category due to the perfect mix of customisation flexibility, and challenge which is restricted within the other categories.
About Us
We are a 6 strong group of aspiring engineers from Prendiville Catholic College, Western Australia. This year, our school is celebrating 40 years, and we would love to celebrate this milestone with an international win.
About The Car
We are running an almost entirely custom car. We have done this both to challenge ourselves and to get the best possible performance on the track. The car which we have designed is made to push the boundaries in not only speed, but also in handling and efficiency.

We are well underway in the construction of this project. In fact, the cover image and attached videos are from the test day hosted by Murdoch University on the 17th September 2026. Based on our calculations, our car is the fastest on the track and we would have come first on test day were it not for an issue regarding old piping (which we have since fixed). Our car seems very promising, but unfortunately, we have come across issues regarding funding on specific custom parts to be made from 3d printed (SLM) aluminium that would improve performance. That is why we kindly request to be partners with you to resolve this issue and get our car to win.
How it works
The car mainly runs off a 2-cell lithium-ion battery, which is supplied with a steady 30W of power from the hydrogen fuel cell. The fuel cell converts the hydrogen stored onboard into clean, renewable power, with clean drinkable water being the only side product. The hydrogen - in our case - is stored within 2 ‘HYDROSTIKS' which uses an AB2 alloy to absorb the hydrogen. This is much safer than using a fully pressurised container, which would be prone to over-pressurisation and explosions
What's in it for You?
Of course, we do realise that handing out free parts with nothing in return is not a great business model. That is why we would be honoured to have your name and logo displayed proudly on our car. We would the shell shown below:

(The shell shown in the videos is temporary).
On top of that, if we win the state-wide race, held on the 6th of November, we will compete in the global race in 2027, hosted in Prague, Czech Republic, giving PCBWay global recognition.
Thank You for your time and consideration of our application.
