Nyx Processor Project
Team name: Corvora
Building embedded security and applications platforms with quantum math accelerators.
a. About our Team
Our team, established in 2022, creates open-source hardware and software ecosystems to build a more stable and secure open hardware platform. Our creations include custom processors based on our in-home ISA called Nyx (aka Xenon), a quad-core 42-vQubit quantum math cluster with a special entanglement engine. Our team is skilled about electronics, software and most importantly, hardware.
b. About our Projects
We, at Corvora, build secure embedded and general purpose systems to power everyday life. We started by creating our own cybersecurity software, then a new processor and a new quantum accelerator. Our processor, which has memory locks and secure hardware security system to provide everyone with security and privacy. And our quantum accelerator Quanta, which uses a special method: hexagonal tiling and entanglement engine which help simulating more qubits while using less memory than ideal.
c. Our mission
Our mission is to provide everyone regardless of where they are located or who they are with open-source and secure hardware. We aim to create repairable, explorable and customizable hardware to provide the end user with the best experience with the reliability of PCBWay.
d. Why PCBWay
Our processors and hardware depend on PCBs, SMD components and quality assembly and carrier boards. We chose PCBWay for being a reliable brand in this industry for years and their quality PCBs and assembly services. Their technologies like flexible PCBs provide our embedded devices to be used in wearables. Their digital processor assembly service will help us prototype our devices easier, and faster. Also, PCBWay will help us create the perfect prototype and production boards for Nyx, which is booting and prototyped on FPGA boards using Verilog and is synthesized using the open-source suite, yosys. While the FPGA prototypes continue (started in 2025 Q4), PCBWay will help us create the prototype motherboard and the carrier boards with an FPGA. After the ASIC phase (planned 2027 Q3), PCBWay's digital processor assembly service will benefit us of by mounting the Nyx processor properly.
e. Benefits to PCBWay
By collaborating, PCBWay will receive the following benefits:
1. All hardware produced in this collaboration will include PCBWay logos and PCBWay will be mentioned in every meeting and every announcement and information booklets.
2. PCBWay will be put on our website as a sponsor with their logo and their contributions.
3. As PCBWay is not broadly recognized in our area of residence, this collaboration will provide PCBWay even more recognition in our country and more teams.
4. With distributing these systems with PCBWay PCBs and their assembly services, the reliability of PCBWay will be proven again and again.
5. As we come from project schools, these schools will be presented about PCBWay and their future use of next-gen PCB technologies.
6. PCBWay and their services will be mentioned in student project groups as big as 600+ students.
f. Conclusion
We believe that a collaboration with PCBWay will help us bring our ideas to life using more high-quality processes while providing PCBWay brand visibility. We would be grateful for the opportunity of collaboration and are sure that the PCBWay collaboration will provide our ideas to life and provide PCBWay more recognition and trust in student project teams located in Turkey.
