NYCU Vulpes Racing
Reestablished in 2019, NYCU Vulpes Racing represents National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan and focuses on designing and building high-performance electric race cars. The team is composed of passionate students primarily from mechanical and electrical engineering fields. They are dedicated to cultivating practical automotive knowledge, centering their curriculum on the three core concepts of theory, design, and practical application.
One of the team's significant achievements involves their electric race car, the VR7.5. The vehicle recently saw success by placing third in the 2025 Taiwan Cup and ranking 15th at the Formula SAE Japan (FSAEJ). Notably, the team proudly represented Taiwan by passing all four rigorous safety inspections in the EV category. Building on this success, the team is currently developing the VR8, their next-generation electric vehicle designed for upcoming international competitions.
PCBs play a critical role in the vehicle's circuit design. Notably, the safety systems rely on distinct PCB circuits, specifically the precharge circuit, Hard Fault Latch circuit and Ready To Move Light circuit.

We would also greatly benefit from a sponsorship via PCBWay’s CNC machining service. This partnership would provide us with high-precision machined components, enabling us to design for minimum weight without compromising structural integrity. This weight reduction is critical for optimizing our vehicle's on-track dynamic performance, directly contributing to a competitive edge at our main event, FSAE Japan.
