We are a student-run nonprofit dedicated to educating our community about sustainable engineering through hands-on innovation. Our team brings together high school students from across South Florida, all passionate about exploring engineering in practical and creative ways.

To inspire the next generation of engineers, we’ve established a mentorship program with Falcon Cove Middle School, where we teach students essential skills such as CAD design, problem solving, and collaborative project development. Each of our roughly ten team members contributes their unique talents to different aspects of the project, creating a strong and well-rounded team.

This year, we are preparing to compete in the 2026 Solar Car Challenge, a cross-country race that allows students to test their solar-powered vehicles in real-world conditions. We are building a four-seater solar cruiser, designing and modifying key components to optimize performance. So far, we have constructed custom seatsand are in the process of creating a rollbar. Additionally, we plan to develop a custom suspension system to improve safety, efficiency, and speed on the road.

We chose this project because it represents what sustainable engineering could look like in the future. Solar energy has the potential to revolutionize transportation, and this challenge gives us the opportunity to explore that future firsthand. Beyond the technical skills, the project has allowed us to bond as a team, meet new people, and embrace the challenges that come with ambitious, hands-on projects.

We are incredibly excited for this season and are seeking support to help bring this vision to life. While this project is a significant investment, we believe the experiences, learning, and inspiration it provides are invaluable.
