Jerry Stick

Recently, my school had a STEAM FAIR for students and i made a walking stick to help blind people navigate through places easier, by adding an ultrasonic sensor to help detect obstacles. The school had multiple judges from the industry to rate and judge the students project.

Fortunately, I managed to win the competition and was awarded with a chance to showcase my project in the ITEX Malaysia Exhibition going on in 2 months. 

As you are able to see on the pictures, my walking stick doesn’t look really nice, and having a PCB Board for it will definitely ensure a clean and nice look. 

I have designed a PCB Board with a few upgrades such as changing to an ESP32 and implementing a microphone and speaker for voice assistant powered by AI.
