ISC Formula Student Racing Team

We are ISC FS Racing Team, the Formula Student team from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI/ICADE) in Madrid, Spain.

Our mission is to design, manufacture, and compete with a fully electric single-seater race car in Formula Student competitions across Europe (Italy, Germany, Spain).

Formula Student is the most prestigious engineering competition for university students, where future engineers get hands-on experience in innovation, teamwork, and cutting-edge technologies.

Why Did We Decide to Make It?

We strongly believe that the best way to learn engineering is by doing it.

By building a Formula Student car, we:

Apply theoretical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and aerodynamics.

Develop teamwork, project management, and leadership skills.

Train the next generation of engineers to tackle challenges in sustainable mobility.

We chose an electric vehicle because we are committed to innovation, sustainability, and the transition towards cleaner technologies.

How Does It Work?

Our car is powered by:

A high-voltage battery pack we design and assemble ourselves.

Custom PCBs for the Battery Management System (BMS), motor controllers, safety circuits, and telemetry.

Lightweight chassis, aerodynamic package, and advanced suspension for maximum performance.

The car accelerates, brakes, and corners just like a professional race car, but every part of it is engineered, tested, and built by our students.
