We are IIT Bombay Racing, India's leading Formula Student Electric team. Since 2010, we have been at the forefront of designing and building electric racecars, competing in both EV and AI categories at prestigious Formula Student events worldwide, including the UK, Austria, Michigan, and beyond.

We are proud to share that we recently won Formula Bharat 2024 EV category, a testament to our team's dedication and engineering prowess. Our team boasts an extensive electrical subdivision that develops high-performance PCBs, which are critical for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our racecars.

We are writing to request your support in the form of sponsorship for free PCB manufacturing facilities. Your cutting-edge PCB fabrication capabilities would be invaluable to our team. They would enable us to rapidly prototype and iterate on new designs, significantly accelerating our development process.

The complete electrical system is divided into three subsystems:

• High & Low Voltage System: The accumulator (378V, 25.2Ah) powers the motor controller, which converts the DC signal to AC to drive the AC motor. This power delivery process requires various protection and safety circuits managed by multiple PCBs, all within this subsystem.

• Controls, Communication and Data Acquisition System: This system collects data from various sensors throughout the vehicle. This information is sent to the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), which uses it to make decisions about how to control the car's systems. The data is also used to optimize the vehicle's performance and improve its overall dynamics.

• Accumulator Management System: The accumulator (378V, 9.6 kWh) powers the high-voltage system. It consists of an aluminum container divided into six segments, each with 1.6 kWh capacity. The accumulator has an in-house accumulator management system to monitor its overall condition and ensure safe and efficient operation.
