Hexadecimal Nibble Robotics
Our project is about a group of 9 people who have been building a robot for an event called First Tech Challenge all year. We decided to start up our team because we all had a passion for robotics and wanted to create a team so we could still be together even if we were separated by our schools. All of our members, even one of our new members, have participated in this event for over 3+ years. The way FTC works is that people who have a passion for robotics all around the world compete against teams to succeed in finishing a task that seems simple, but can get complicated at times. Every year, a new game (or task) is assigned to everyone, and we continue to create new robots.
Our project involves using every little bit of what we can to create it into a functioning robot that will play on the field. Due to the amount of hard work and effort involved in this project, it takes multiple people to help and contribute to the success of our team. The way we set everything up is by CADing the robot first, then going off of that to create what we have as of right now. There aren't specific instructions; it follows what the team determines is best to complete the task. Many components go into this robot, which involves a large sum of money to afford. Some of these components have either been donated by other people or have been bought out of pocket, which has helped us tremendously. We use websites such as Slack, Onshape, Monday.com, and so much more to keep the progression of our team tracked and to be able to tell other people about our journey.
Our team as a whole thinks PCBway's support would help us continue our journey in robotics and continue to make better projects in the years to come. We would be very grateful if you decide to help us with this project of ours, and look forward to collaborating if you consider this.
