Fun 60 custom case
I’m a solo content creator in the custom keyboard hobby, and I’ve been building projects on my own for a while now.
I graduated with a 3D modeling and engineering degree, and I still use the skills I acquired as a hobby, combined with my other interests such as custom keyboards and IoT devices. Designing and building things has always been something I’m passionate about.
Over time, I’ve built a community of around 6k followers across different platforms, each focused on a specific topic:
Discord for IoT and DIY projects
TikTok for custom keyboard content
I’ve always wanted to create something truly of my own, from concept to design to manufacturing — and this project is a big step in that direction.
I’ve been working on a custom keyboard case design for the MonsGeek FUN60.
The FUN60 uses a non-standard layout, which means that none of the existing cases on the market fit it properly. After searching for existing solutions and finding none that worked, I decided to design my own case from scratch.
To validate the design, I already produced a 3D-printed test case, which fits perfectly and confirms that the layout, mounting points, and tolerances are correct. With the design now verified, the next step is to level up to a CNC-milled aluminum version as the final piece.
The goal is to create a high-quality aluminum case with a clean design, good acoustics, and solid overall build quality. I’ll be sharing the full journey — from design refinements and machining to finishing and final assembly.

here is the beta 3d printed version ( split 2 part i have a A1 mini too small for 1 part print
