Owls Racing is Florida Atlantic University’s Formula Student engineering team, dedicated to designing and building high-performance combustion race cars for international Formula SAE competition. Each year, a multidisciplinary group of students from Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering — along with other technical and business majors — collaborate to push the boundaries of performance, safety, and data-driven innovation.

Our electrical team develops a wide range of embedded control and safety systems entirely in-house. These include the Steering Interface Module, Gear Control Unit (GCU), Brake Plausibility Shutdown Device (BPSD), Brake Light Module, and Power Distribution systems, all of which integrate through a high-speed CAN network and operate under demanding race conditions.

To meet the precision, reliability, and turnaround demands of our development cycles, we rely on high-quality PCB manufacturing solutions that match our engineering rigor.
