First Tech Challenge Robot - WCC

Wycombe Competitive Computing is a First Tech Challenge (FTC) team from Wycombe Abbey School, UK. FTC is an international competition that requires students to work together to produce robots to compete in exciting games. FIRST is a global organisation advancing STEM education for students worldwide, with competitions in over 100+ countries and over 72,000 teams. Our team consists of a dynamic collective of 15 students with distinct experiences and backgrounds, brought together by a shared passion for innovation and enthusiasm for STEM.

The mission of our team is to channel our collective skills and eagerness into creating tangible, positive impact on our community. We believe that robotics and STEM education should be accessible to every child, and we are dedicated to sharing our knowledge and experience through active engagement with young children. In the upcoming months we are hosting a robotics workshop for KS3 students at our local all-girl school, as well as volunteering sessions at Young Deaf Activities. Ultimately, we want to make STEM engaging and appealing to children and to plant the seeds of curiosity that will grow into the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

This is where sponsors come in: with your help, we can make our mission a reality. In addition, sponsorship is a great way to express your willingness to support the community and demonstrate your commitment to STEM development, as well as educating the importance of technology to the next generation.
