FaSTDa-Racing, Formula Student Team Darmstadt

Hello Community,

I am Jörn März Engineer in the subteam suspension of the Formula Student Team Darmstadt. We are a Team of about 60 students, building a race car every year and racing it all around Europe against other teams from all around the world. For the upcoming season, I optimized and engineered uprights that are 30% lighter and much stiffer than the ones from the previous season. Here is the topology optimization vs the finished CAD model for the front and the rear upright.

We need help manufacturing these expensive parts out of additive manufactured AlSi10Mg. If you like, I can go into details of the Simulation and the modelling process.
