FRC FIRST Robotics - Patribots 4738

We're the Patribots, FRC Team 4738 from Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California. We're a team of 30-50 students competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition, where we design and build a full competition robot every year. Over the years we've had a solid track record including regional wins, world championships appearances, and multiple awards.

This year for the 2026 REBUILT season our robot shoots balls into a funnel, and accurate vision tracking is critical to making that work. In order for our bot to function, we need to use a Limelight camera which scans QR codes call April tags allowing us to have accurate movement and shooting. We have designed a custom Limelight camera mount (linked below) in CAD and tried 3D printing it first, but it wasn't stable or strong enough for competition and broke easily. We have order history with PCBway getting parts CNC machined and we already know the quality is there, clean finish, tight tolerances, exactly what we need. Machined aluminum is just in a different league than what our printers can produce for a part this important.

If PCBway could support us through sponsorship or machining parts for our robot we would be incredibly grateful. It directly helps students get real hands-on engineering experience and keeps our program running.

As a 501(c)3 corporation, any contribution is tax-deductible. For donations, please make checks payable to the Patrick Henry High Foundation with "Patrick Henry Foundation/Patribots Robotics" in the memo line, sent to 6702 Wandermere Drive, San Diego, CA 92120. Our Tax ID is 33-0567233.
