It only takes one monumental experience to show you the power of your own two hands. For me, that experience was in engineering—pushing past failures and watching a final product come to life. That thrill of creation is profound, but it's also temporary. Psychologists call this "hedonic adaptation," a cycle where even incredible achievements eventually become normal. I see it as a driving question: how can we understand the internal states that define who we are?

From an engineering perspective, the answer lies in data. This project is my first step toward exploring that answer. My long-term vision is to investigate non-invasive neurostimulation, but to do so, I must first master the fundamentals of Electroencephalography (EEG).

After months of research, I have developed the initial prototype of a custom EEG device to capture and analyze the brain's electrical signals. This isn't just a technical exercise; it's a mission to build a tool that can help us understand the very foundation of our thoughts and experiences.
