DD-ROBOCON 2026 (KUNGFU QUEST)

Team Cybrotics, the official robotics team of Government Engineering College, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been actively participating in the ABU Robocon since 2010. ABU ROBOCON is an Asia-Pacific competition that started in the year 2002, in which countries participate to win the world championship. The goal of the Robocon event is to encourage engineering, innovation, and teamwork among students.

In 2025, Team Cybrotics achieved remarkable national success at DD Robocon:

AIR-6 in Stage 1

AIR-2 in Stage 2

Quarter-finalists with AIR-4 in Stage 3, held at IIT Delhi

These achievements highlight the team's continuous growth, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence in competitive robotics.

For Robocon 2026, the team is developing a dual-robot system consisting of a manual and a fully autonomous robot. The project involves extensive PCB development for sensing, power management, control systems, and communication units.

1. Power & Motor Control System

This subsystem manages the entire robot’s power distribution and high-current motor drivers. The board includes:

• Li-Po battery power delivery
• Multi-mode power switching (OFF / ON / Charge)
• High-current H-bridge motor drivers
• Buck converters & regulators for 5V/12V rails
• Current sensing and thermal protection for safe operation

2. Main Control & Sensor Integration Circuit

This PCB serves as the robot’s brain and integrates:

• STM32/ESP32 microcontroller
• IMU (BNO080), ToF sensors, IR arrays
• UART/I2C/SPI communication buses
• Encoder inputs for precision motor control
• Wireless communication modules
• Debug & programming ports

These PCBs allow the robot to coordinate movement, pick objects, aim precisely, and execute tasks at high speed, which is essential for winning Robocon challenges.
