DC high power source - DC high current (Arduino)

Hello guys, my name is Dayana and I am an electronic engineer, this time I would like to share with you a project that is about a high power DC-DC buck source controlled by arduino.

I decided to develop this DC - DC converter since there are many fake high power converters on the market that promise to handle many amps but at the moment they are very fragile and inconvenient.

So I developed this very robust and versatile DC - DC source, to be used in any project, where it is required to handle large powers and currents that a common source would not handle, the design of this source is initially intended to be used in non-current currents. greater than 45 amps, and an input voltage of 100 V, (depending on the mosfets and diodes used).

Although the idea by itself sounds very crazy, this source works at a frequency of approximately 60 kHz, which is a very considerable frequency for its dimensions, I decided to use this frequency since we can reach efficiency values ??greater than 90% very easily, we will only have to calculate the components correctly to use and put the source to work.

Thanks to the current sensor incorporated in the PCB, we will be able to have complete control over the current that circulates through the output of the source, in this way we will vary the duty cycle of the source and by magic we will have a high DC - DC source. Power with current limit ideal for charging lithium batteries or any other type.

Finally, I would like to give some guidelines for operation and calculations to take into account for the start-up of this source, first take into account the maximum input voltage and the maximum output current, since based on these data we will have to choose between a mosfet or another for our source, I have to say that in this source the inductor is of vital importance so as not to have a very strong ripple at the output of the source, therefore I recommend using an inductor that easily supports the maximum current output and we will prevent it from saturating and altering the values ??of the calculations made, thanks to all
