Aristotle University Racing Team Electric - Aristurtle

Aristurtle is a leading student research team from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in the design, development, and construction of electric and driverless race cars. Since our founding in 2013, we have pushed the boundaries of engineering and motorsport. In 2016, we made history by building the first electric race car in Northern Greece—a milestone that marked the beginning of an impressive journey in the world of Formula Student competitions.

Each year, we undertake the ambitious task of designing and manufacturing a new race car to compete in prestigious international Formula Student events. In 2021, we became the first and only Greek team to enter the driverless category—a distinction we proudly hold to this day. With participation in over 18 high-profile international competitions, we have consistently earned top rankings, showcasing our technical excellence and dedication to innovation.

The 2024-2025 racing season marks an exciting new chapter for Aristurtle. With a team of over 40 passionate and skilled members, we are more determined than ever to push technological boundaries. One of our most groundbreaking achievements is the design and manufacture of our own electric motors—two of which have already been successfully produced. This season, we are embarking on a bold new project: constructing a completely redesigned single-seater race car equipped with a revolutionary four-wheel drive powertrain powered by our custom motors.
