Altimeter for model rockets produced with 3D printers
Hello, I'm Süleyman H. Çamdalı, living in Kayseri, Türkiye. I'm a mechatronics engineer pursuing a master's degree in aeronautical electrical and electronics. I also design model rockets that are accessible, easy to manufacture, and use.
These model rockets can be produced using 3D printers and are ready for use in model rocket training. My model rockets currently reach altitudes of 500 meters, and I have designs that can fly at higher altitudes in the pipeline.
My target altitudes are between 1000 and 2000 meters. I will also be conducting scientific research and development on model rocket engine designs in the future. I've designed a micro altimeter that will accurately determine the launch altitude of my rockets. This altimeter will be open source and accessible to anyone interested. The altimeter will include a BMP390 and Attiny1616. I look forward to your support in this endeavor. If you'd like to check out my work, my social media accounts are listed below.
