WULPUS High Voltage PCB v1.1.1
This PCBWAY project replicates a High-Voltage PCB for the WULPUS platform.
WULPUS is an open-source compact, ultra-low-power research ultrasound platform designed for wearable applications. It features + 15 V unipolar programmable excitations, 8 time-multiplexed channels, an 8 Msps 12-bit ADC, and a 40.8 dB gain amplifier, ensuring high-quality signal processing. With BLE connectivity (320 kbps) and a power consumption of just <25 mW, it enables real-time, wireless multi-day continuous ultrasound monitoring powered from a single battery.
The system consists of two PCBs: an Acquisition PCB, housing the MSP430FR5043 ultrasound MCU and nRF52832 BLE MCU, and a High-Voltage PCB with a HV multiplexer, TX/RX switch, and MOSFET driver. This design allows for efficient ultrasound signal acquisition, processing, and wireless transmission.
With its 46 × 25 mm footprint and 9 g weight, WULPUS offers up to 50 acquisitions per second (400 samples per acquisition), making it ideal for wearable ultrasound applications requiring continuous monitoring and mobility.
