StickleBack - Acorn Electron Joystick Interface + Audio Out
This is a tested and working project
The StickleBack provides a joystick port and an audio out jack for the Acorn Electron
- The joystick interface is a clone of the 'First Byte Digital Joystick Interface' standard
- Use normal 9-pin digital joysticks / joypads that follow the Atari standard (ie most home computers of the 80s and early 90s)
- Joystick interface is a clone of the 'First Byte Digital Joystick Interface' and is compatible with games which natively support it such as Frak!, Hostages, Crack-Up, Rubble Trouble etc
- Works with almost all Acorn Electron games, even keyboard only games as the software includes keyboard emulation and analogue joystick emulation support
- Works with tape and disc based games
- Easy to use in your BASIC programs
- Includes an audio out connector so you can hook-up your Acorn Electron to an external amplified device (TV, speakers etc)
- Power LED
- Pass-through connector for additional expansions
