Description
JACC64 16K - C64 Cartridge
This is a tested and working project
A simple cartridge intended to hold a single 16K ROM image with power LED and reset switch. This cartridge is designed for M27C128 EPROMs (and compatibles).
- Larger (E)EPROMs should work, just duplicate the 16K ROM image as many times as is necessary to fill the (E)EPROM.
- 8K ROM images will work but it's recommended to pair it with an 8K C64 BASIC ROM to make 16K for maximum compatibility but oftend just doubling the 8K ROM is fine
BOM (all THT)
- 1 x 5mm LED (D3)
- 1 x 6mm Tactile Push Button
- 1 x 330Ω Axial Resistor - 1/4 watt. (LED brightness, anything between 330Ω - 1KΩ is fine)
- 1 x 10KΩ Axial Resistor - 1/4 watt
- 2 x 1N4148 Diodes
- 1 x 100nF Ceramic Capacitor
- 1 x M27C128 EPROM (or compatible)
- 1 x 28pin DIP Wide IC Socket (optional)
