Description
Commodore Amiga 500 Kickstart Rom switcher
ELECTRONIC KICKSTART SWITCHER
FOR AMIGA 500, 500+ & 2000
Turn on or restart your Amiga as normal
to select KickStart ROM fitted into U2 socket.
Press LMB, RMB, L Shift or R Shift while turning on or restarting your Amiga
to select KickStart ROM fitted into U1 socket.
Simply fill one or both sockets marked as U1 and U2 with ROM i.e. 1.3 and 2.04,
and plug the it into the ROM socket on your motherboard.
Attach the RED PROBE into pin 5 of GARY (5719) chip /KBRESET
Attach the BLACK PROBE into pin 8 of CIA (8520) U7 to select U1 with LMB while restarting
or to KEYBOARD CHIP (6570) pin 25 to select U1 with LEFT SHIFT while restarting
or to KEYBOARD CHIP (6570) pin 29 to select U1 with RIGHT SHIFT while restarting.
otherwise Amiga will start with the ROM fitted into U2.
