Vision Bot V0 – Agricultural Monitoring Concept :
Vision Bot V0 is a solar-powered autonomous rover designed for precision agriculture, created as a concept 3D model in Fusion 360. This early V0 version focuses on crop health monitoring using ML-based detection and VOC / spectral sensing for early disease identification. The design is optimized for fixed-height crops such as wheat and cotton, making it especially suitable for regions like Punjab. Its industrial-style, single-body structure features a clean and robust aesthetic, ideal for visualization, concept validation, and enclosure prototyping.
Integrated into a dual-robot system, Vision Bot operates alongside a Spray Bot drone to provide a complete detect-and-treat agricultural workflow. While Vision Bot gathers real-time crop health data using RGB cameras, spectral sensors, and VOC analysis, the Spray Bot performs targeted pesticide spraying only on infected plants. By combining IoT and Machine Learning, the system enables real-time decision-making, significantly reducing chemical usage, labour dependency, and operational cost. A shared farmer rental model further improves affordability and accessibility.
The Vision Bot V0 model acts as a foundation for future swarm-based agricultural robots, allowing scalable deployment across large farmlands. The concept and workflow are demonstrated in the project explanation video.
