The Commodore 1581 Replica disk drive Build project ..

The project video is to showing you how to build a disk driver for yourselfs

PCB is perfectly compatible with the original 1581 case, if you have one. Alternatively you can buy a 3D printed case or print it yourself if you have the option.

Assembling this board, you will have a fully functional board of a commmodore 1581 drive. 

In addition to the components needed to assemble the board, you will obviously also need a floppy drive (any Amiga drive or PC modified for Amiga can be used), the flat 34pin cable and the power supply cable of the drive.

In addition, the power supply is also required (dual 12v, 5v but most drives run on 5 volts without needing 12 volts). You can use the one from 1541-II or easily adapt one.
