This provides a way or connecting to Socketed ICs with out having to solder straight onto legs or even bend up legs.

Simply cut the strip down to the required size, file the edges smooth and then slide onto a machine socket IC and solder into place.

You can either solder on pins for connection test points, or even direct wiring.

if your project requires that the IC leg must not connect to the socket below, you can simply cut and file away the sockets leg so it does not make contact.
