Part of the "Playing with the sun" experimental learning kit.
Some of the design philosophy while doing these PCBs is to rectify all outputs (using schottkys), and protect all inputs (using zeners).
The Zener isn't strictly neccesary, and the motor will run fine without it, but i'ts good practice to mount it to avoid overvoltage... If you're sure the kids playing with this will never put more than 5V on anything, feel free to take that risk... ;)
Production files zip should contain everything needed to order assembled PCBs.. i hope.. haven't tested it yet :)
