This project introduces the design of a high-efficiency lithium-ion battery charger utilizing the TP5000 IC. This charger is capable of delivering up to 2 Amps of charging current, making it suitable for applications requiring faster battery charging. With support for external components, such as an inductor, and operating at a high oscillation frequency of 800 KHz, this circuit ensures efficient and reliable charging.
Main Features:
LED Indicators:
- Red LED: Indicates the battery is charging.
- Green LED: Signals that the battery is fully charged.
High Current Capacity: Supports charging currents up to 2 Amps, allowing faster charging compared to standard chargers.
External Inductor: Enhances efficiency by enabling high-frequency operation at 800 KHz.
Ease of Customization: Designed for projects that require flexibility and performance.
