Halloween pumpkin PCB
PCB in the shape of a Halloween pumpkin. This PCB project is for the Halloween festivities, which is intended to involve the electronic world in these festivities.
The project has an oscillator based on the NE555DRG4 integrated circuit, with an astable configuration. In the high cycle of the output signal, the LEDs corresponding to the eyes and nose of the pumpkin light up, while in the low cycle of the wave, the LEDs corresponding to the mouth of the pumpkin light up.
The circuit can be powered with a 5 to 12-volt DC power supply through the screwed connector. The oscillation frequency of the LEDs can be controlled using the potentiometer on the back of the PCB, achieving a synchronization effect when several pumpkins are operating at the same time.
Open-source software was used for the development of this project. Kicad for PCB layout and FreeCad for pumpkin shape PCB layout.
